I have designed hundreds of custom homes build in NY, PA, VA and FL. I still currently design homes for a couple great builders in VA and FL but want to pick up a builder or two in CO where I'm located now. I have designed mainly conventional wood framed, many CMU block and a few IFC. I think IFC is the best way to build. It's a great way to have strength, insulation and fire resistance for the environment we live in today. lately I've been working on modern solar earth shelters designed for desert or high plains. I rely on a lot of past experience working on residential, commercial, industrial and bridge construction. There is so much you can do blending IFC with conventional wood framing or CMU as needed and most practice.
