ICF Architect / Designer in Kanata, ON

After graduating from Algonquin College with a diploma in Architectural Technician and Interior Design. In 1983, I began working in the design and construction business in both residential and commercial. In 1991, I began my career in building homes in the Ottawa area. Throughout my creative career I have managed a project portfolio with a collaborative team of the most proficient skilled tradespeople. I am a member of Tarion, Renomark and the Greater Ottawa Home Builders' Association. It is an important part of my business to take a hands-on approach, actively overseeing every single detail of my projects. I also believe in keeping will informed with the industry trends and evolving construction methods. I started using ICF on a renovation project in 2004 which help me familiarized myself with the ICF product. In 2006, designed and constructed a 6,000 sf. ft. home on the St. Lawrence River.

This lovely home is located on the St. Lawrence River. The house was built in three section due to the terrain of the property. Working with ICF made this easy to do. Since the outside walls were insulated, it made it very comfortable to work in the home during the winter months with minimal heating.
