Complete ICF home at about 7500 Sq. Ft. with Structural Concrete Floor and isolated concrete decks, This home has complete radiant floor heating, cooling and domestic hot water from one hydronic heat pump.

Winner of 2006 Uponor Dream Home Contest. Complete contemporary ICF home of 7500 Sq. Ft, with structural concrete floors, vapor barrier and foam insulation under the trusses., This home has two separate and complete living areas, one up and one down. It has radiant in floor heating and in floor cooling with domestic hot water from one hydronic heat pump. Worst winter monthly heating bill (from the separate mechanicals meter) was $100 in 2006.. The 3 dedicated on demand HRV's, (due to the 21' ceiling) account for nearly. 50% of the energy costs .

This complete ICF project was done in 8" wall with huge window/door openings. It was a great success because we pre-planned, discussed, and amended the impossibilities of what was shown on the plan. The importance of the whole design and construction team including the architect and engineer cannot be over stated. Common sense cost effectiveness should start before it gets on paper and should never stop through the construction process..
