We are currently completing a mixed-use student living-learning centre at UW Place, an existing on-campus residential community at the University of Waterloo in Ontario, Canada. The twelve-storey, 539-bed, design-build infill project replaces surface parking and improves pedestrian connections as well as providing a variety of amenities that will serve the inhabitants of the new building and 1,755 student residents in six existing buildings. Throughout the design, we have been actively involved in the University of Waterloo’s various user groups in a collaborative process to develop a positive student experience and ensure the most effective design possible. This project is currently under construction.
